Lidia's Story

Lidia first learned knitting and crochet from her grandmother in Peru. Later, in the parks of Lima, she sat with elderly women who gathered to make pieces for their families and for local markets, learning from the rhythm of their hands and the patience of their craft.
During the pandemic in Nova Scotia, she began taking her work more seriously, first creating pieces for people. Her dogs soon became her original models, inspiring dog knitwear, personalized accessories, matching sets, and the handmade spirit that still guides Knitting With Love.
